Here's What People Are Saying...

I did 14 out of 15 workouts over the three weeks! I am eating more mindfully again, making more conscious decisions about what I consume. I still ate treats or higher calorie food, but made adjustments accordingly at the next meal. I even acquired an ice cream maker and used it twice during this period, but kept my consumption of the treat to a healthy serving. I am moving more (beyond the workouts). I am more comfortable in my skin, not worrying about whether clothing choices "make me look fat", rather choosing clothing for comfort.

I went shopping to look for some new dresses. (My teacher colleagues challenged me to find a new one for promotion with them.) I walked out of there with four great dresses and a cute black jumpsuit. Tried them on and they all fit! So nice not to feel uncomfortable in my clothes!

Nerina

I am feeling so much more energetic. Food is fuel vs. comfort! It was so nice to not go off the rails this weekend and feel completely in control.

Last week I was able to stay under [my] calorie limits for 6 out of 7 days and also rode on my stationary bike for 20 minutes on 6 out of the 7 days! I'm making progress! Regaining strength takes time. Small progress is a big victory.

The challenge is over, [and] I am hooked on eating lots and lots of fruits and vegetables. Thank you, Shannon, for [this] challenge!

Proof that I’m getting stronger, thanks to these [Challenge] workouts: I go for a 2-mile run on [most days] and usually take my dog. My pace is around 10:30, even without the dog. Well, I went sans dog today and had a pace of 9:28! I’m going to chalk it up to these strength and cardio workouts!
